ABOUT ME

My name is Joseph Zucker, but you can call me Joe. I am a director, producer, writer and actor currently living in New York.

I grew up in Pleasantville, New York, located just north of New York City. In May of 2022, I received my BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, specifically in the Undergraduate Film and Television Department.

As the Founder of Zucker Films, my newly established production company, I strive to unite emerging talents and recent graduates in the world of film and TV. In my dual capacity as both producer and director, I'm dedicated to ensuring that every project we undertake shines with top-notch quality.

As a Technical Production Assistant for Zoomari Films, I assist the Director of Photography in productions such as NBC’s The Today Show, MTV's Video Music Awards, and the Problem with Jon Stewart.

My writing and directorial work has won accolades. My short film, "A Night with the Sheintops," received critical acclaim and has clinched awards for Best Ensemble at the First Contact Film Festival, Best Editing at the First Run Film Festival, and the honor of Official Selection at the Big Apple Film Festival.

In addition to being a filmmaker, I'm also a visual artist, working primarily in pencil, pastel and oil paints. Moreover, I'm proficient in Photoshop, as well as other applications and programs.
